Durable tool. I chose this model because I needed a handy pickaxe to dig a few large holes in the garden for trees. The soil is full of stones, but the pickaxe handles it well. Due to its small size, it’s easy to operate it with one hand. The only downside is that the head does not lock onto the handle by itself, although it should. I had to hammer it in, but after working with stones, it would loosen anyway. I solved this by screwing in two small screws from the bottom – problem solved. I don’t treat it as a bushcraft gadget, only as a tool for garden work.

The tool is sharp, durable, and solid. Sure, the handle is traditionally wood, but the head itself is a solid piece of steel – durable and very sharp. The whole thing isn’t overly heavy, which makes work easier.
