The gloves are good, but they do not provide sufficient protection for the hands against sharp objects or plants. However, they are excellent for shooting and performing precision tasks.
Mechanix Wear M-Pact Material 4X Tactical Gloves - Blk/Tan
Tactical gloves in brown and black, designed to provide fundamental mechanical protection for the hands. Their exceptional fit guarantees complete grip control and facilitates precise movements. Perfect for law enforcement officers, military personnel, shooting sports enthusiasts, as well as for survival expeditions, auto repair work, DIY projects, and airsoft games.
TrekDry material, TPR plastic, Impact Guard panel
The top section of the gloves is crafted from breathable TrekDry material and strengthened with durable panels made from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber). These provide defense against abrasions and impacts to the hands from external elements. The segmented design of the panels facilitates easy finger movement. The knuckle on the index finger receives additional protection from Impact Guard, a panel infused with EVA foam.
Material4X leather, d3O inserts, Armortex fabric
The textured fingertips are enhanced with inserts featuring durable Material4X synthetic leather, offering excellent resistance to abrasion and tearing. The underside of the gloves includes D3O inserts that absorb impact energy and vibrations in the metacarpal region, as well as grip-enhancing panels made from Armortex fabric, boosting hand grip. The cuff is secured with Velcro.
EN388-4121 standard
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 at level 2131XP in terms of resistance to mechanical risks, which means:
- 2: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0–5)
- 3: tear resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (on a scale of A–F)
- P: impact protection (test passed)
In the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is rated on a scale from 1 to 6 and refers to the number of cycles a material can withstand before wearing out. Cut resistance is classified on a scale from A1 to A9 (from the lowest to the highest level of protection). Puncture resistance is rated on a scale from 0 to 5 and indicates the force required to puncture the glove surface with a sharp probe (does not apply to needle puncture).
The scales specified in the EN388 standard define the level of glove protection: a value of 0 indicates no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.
When testing using the TDM method (ISO 13997), letter markings are used, where A indicates the lowest level of protection and F the highest.
The X marking indicates that the given parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The P marking indicates that the glove meets the requirements for impact protection.

TPR, or thermoplastic rubbeTPR, or thermoplastic rubber, is a material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. It is flexible and durable, and is often used in the manufacture of tool handles, gaskets, footwear, and many other products, as it provides comfort, good grip and wear resistance.r, is a type of synthetic material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. TPR is characterized by its flexibility and abrasion resistance.
TrekDry is a modern material characterized by high breathability. It effectively wicks moisture away from the surface of the skin, which helps to keep it dry and thermally comfortable during intense physical activity. It fits to the shape of the hand, ensuring freedom of movement and increasing precision during various activities.
Armortex is a durable material that is highly resistant to abrasion, tearing and cutting. Its special synthetic fiber structure reinforces the areas most vulnerable to damage, and the special texture ensures better grip and a secure hold. It prevents the gloves from becoming wet in contact with water, oil or other liquids.
D3O is a modern material with intelligent molecules that move freely during normal use. However, at the moment of impact, they fuse together, absorbing and dispersing energy, then rapidly return to an elastic state. As a result, the material effectively reduces vibration, protects hands from injury and reduces hand strain while working.
Impact Guard is a protective panel that protects the outer part of the hand from impact and injury. The reinforcement is made of flexible EVA foam, providing effective cushioning without restricting finger dexterity, allowing full freedom of movement with comfortable and precise work.
Material4X is an innovative synthetic material developed by Mechanix Wear that combines the softness of natural leather with many times the durability. It is resistant to abrasion, tears and punctures, while retaining flexibility and excellent feel. Material4X does not harden when wet, dries quickly and is washable.

Wonderful gloves, fit well on the hands, well made, very suitable for both combat missions and training on the range. The quality is high, they have quite strong inserts. Wonderful gloves, you could even say they're already classic.
-
The gloves are very durable and comfortable. They fit the hand perfectly, provide excellent protection, and do not restrict finger movement. They perform great both during outdoor use and technical work. They are made of high-quality materials.

I have used this glove model before and was very satisfied, but the Velcro came off on the right glove. That's why I bought another pair and I still enjoy using them during ASG games.

I also got these new MPact 1 gloves in black this May. They are just as I wanted. I need them to wear with new service uniforms.
