Breathable TrekDry form-fitting material
The upper part of the gloves is made of lightweight and breathable Form-fitting TrekDry material, which effectively reduces sweating in the hands. The grip part sewn from durable synthetic leather Material4X is characterized by high abrasion and tear resistance. The thumb and index finger are reinforced with an additional layer of material, which increases their durability.
Cuff with ribbing
A wide cuff equipped with ribbing guarantees additional protection and a stable fit of the glove on the wrist. The generous entrance allows you to put on the glove easily and quickly.
EN388-2131X protection standard
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 level 2131X for mechanical resistance, which means:
- 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
- 1: cut resistance (scale 0-5)
- 3: tear resistance (scale 0-4)
- 1: puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
- X: cut resistance - TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
The scales provided in the EN388 standard define the level of glove protection: a value of 0 means no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.
For TDM (ISO 13997) testing, letter markings are used, where A represents the lowest protection and F represents the highest.
The X marking indicates that a given parameter has not been tested or is not applicable.

At this price, the gloves are really very good. They are comfortable, well-made, and improve grip. However, you should remember that they won't work well when working in wet conditions, as they quickly soak up water.

The gloves are very comfortable for everyday use – they're light, fit the hand well, and are easy to put on thanks to the elastic cuff. The materials are a plus, providing a secure grip and allowing for precise work, even on a phone without taking them off. They work well both at the shooting range, in the field, and during garage work. It's important to remember that they're better suited for light work – they may wear out more quickly during heavy-duty tasks. For this price, however, they are a really cost-effective option and can be easily recommended.

Putting on and taking off these shoes is extremely easy. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship immediately impresses and inspires confidence. I already own other shoes from this brand, but I tried the FastFit model for the first time, and from now on I will only buy this version because they are exceptionally comfortable.

Mechanix Wear FastFit in Olive Drab are comfortable, fairly thin gloves. They provide a good grip, but I wouldn't choose them for handling firearms.
