The shoes look different than in the pictures – the Cordura is a dark green color, while in the Militaria photos it appears black or brown. In person, the shoes are very attractive. Overall, they're okay, although I expected something better from the Magnum brand, especially since the Lynx 8.0 model set the bar high. The sole is average – not terrible, but the Lynx model's sole was much better. A big plus is the waterproofing – they don't leak at all. The shoes also breathe well and don't develop an unpleasant odor (that's a plus). I used them daily for about 3 months – despite intensive use, both outdoors and indoors, the new-shoe smell lingered for a long time. These shoes work best for people with wide feet. On the downside: the tongue is poorly designed, with material coming out from under the seam. This issue occurred on both shoes; I returned them under warranty and the claim was accepted without any problem. I won't be buying them again. In my case, after some time, the reinforcement behind the heel started causing painful blisters.
