MultiCam is a cutting-edge camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the US company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The objective was to develop a versatile camouflage pattern effective across diverse terrains and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern includes seven colors, facilitating gradient transitions among shades of green, brown, and beige. This enables it to adapt dynamically to the background, reflecting green hues in forested regions or browns and beiges in desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern European settings, it performs exceptionally well during autumn and amidst dry vegetation. MultiCam has achieved global recognition and is utilized by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted the camouflage for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The carabiner is solidly made. The Velcro holds tightly, and the rotating head is an added advantage. The only drawback is the hook at the end of the spring – when removing gloves, the straps get stuck on it and you have to work a bit to detach them. I filed down the hook with a file and now everything works great ;)
