The carabiner is solidly made. The Velcro holds tightly, and the rotating head is an added advantage. The only drawback is the hook at the end of the spring – when removing gloves, the straps get stuck on it and you have to work a bit to detach them. I filed down the hook with a file and now everything works great ;)
