Compact, folding prismatic compass enclosed in a durable metal case. Enables swift and precise directional readings, azimuth determination, and computation of distances and object sizes.
Bearing compass functions are facilitated by side scales (metric and inch), a lens-equipped sight, front and rear sights, and a map compass. The compass features a level for horizontal alignment, a hanging bracket, and a thread for tripod or theodolite mounting.
The compass's rotating dial contains an alcohol-infused liquid to prevent freezing, reduce vibrations, and allow for seamless data reading while moving. A sapphire bearing ensures the needle's accurate rotation. Angle and gradient tables on the compass's underside assist with calculations.
Additionally, the compass includes an internal mirror for easier dial value reading.
Comes with a nylon pouch featuring a belt loop and a hanging rope.
