The sweatshirt's design is modeled after the standard uniform sweatshirt of the Ukrainian army. It is crafted from a material that blends cotton and polyester. The fabric is lightweight and quicker to dry than pure cotton. A Rip-Stop weave is incorporated, significantly boosting the material's tear resistance.
There are 5 Velcro panels sewn onto the sweatshirt, enabling the attachment of emblems, such as distinctions, national flags, unit emblems, or Morale Patches.
MM-14 stands for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and refers to the year 2014 when the camouflage was officially sanctioned. The pattern draws inspiration from the American UCP camouflage, yet the shades are selected to align with the natural colors found in Ukraine. Implementing the MM-14 camouflage pattern was a crucial aspect of the Ukrainian army's shift from post-Soviet identity. Unofficially, it is also known as Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
