MultiCam Camouflage
MultiCam is an innovative camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to design a versatile camouflage effective in diverse terrains and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern includes seven colors, creating gradient transitions between green, brown, and beige. This allows it to adapt to backgrounds, appearing with green shades in forested areas and brown and beige in desert regions—in Central and Eastern Europe, it works best in the autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained global recognition and is used by various armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the U.S. Army for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available for civilian users, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
