Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage design created in 2002 by the US company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The aim was to develop a versatile camouflage pattern that remains effective across various terrains and under different environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern incorporates seven colors, forming gradient transitions between green, brown, and beige shades. Consequently, it adjusts dynamically to the background, appearing green in forest regions or brown and beige in desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern European settings, it excels in autumn and amidst dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained global recognition, being adopted by numerous armed forces and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected this pattern for personnel stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilians, making it a top choice for military and airsoft enthusiasts.
