Leather upper, overmolded part of the sole

Gore-Tex Membrane
Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Monowrap Sole
Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The combination of an injection-molded polyurethane rubber frame along with an outsole and cushioning foam provides better stability and protection for the foot. Size: 45I know they may not be very tactical and you do not look like the commander of a Penguin unit in them, but they are genuinely very comfortable shoes that perform great both on flat terrain and in the mountains — they make you want to keep walking in them. They are comfortable and, as you would expect from Lowa, solidly made. This is already my second pair, and the previous one lasted me more than five years. It is only worth remembering that the presence of a membrane does not mean the shoes will work like rain boots. They can handle some moisture, but in the rain or during longer walks through wet grass, they will get soaked sooner or later — there are no miracles.

I took these boots one size up from my usual — for long descents, this turned out to be the right decision. They fit with a bit of extra room, not tight, and with thin socks they feel a bit loose, but with thick trekking socks, the fit becomes snugger and more comfortable. Overall — a reliable choice for trekking, I'll confidently take them on a hike.

Great company and excellent footwear. The Vibram sole is a huge advantage of these shoes, since the versions with a butyl sole in military models are of much lower quality. Vibram provides much better grip on wet and slippery surfaces. The leather is of very good quality, and the Gore-Tex membrane works excellently.

The shoes are great! The quality of workmanship is high, I have no complaints. As soon as you put them on, you can feel that the shoe fits your foot perfectly, and breaking them in won't be a problem. They are lightweight, very comfortable. I was initially worried they might be too stiff, but they aren't—quite the opposite; with every use, they become even better. Definitely worth their price and will surely last for many years.
