This fire starter is worth considering – tested by many people, easy to use, and produces plenty of sparks. I believe I can recommend it to both beginners and experienced users.

I think it could fit better in the hand / the shape of the indentation for the thumb is not perfect in my opinion, but otherwise of course it's great.

Great fire starter – fits well in the hand, the rod is really large, and although the scraper is small, it only takes one swipe to create a lot of sparks. An additional advantage is the whistle included in the set, which I haven't seen with other fire starters.

The fire starter is practical and functional. You just have to scrape off the protective layer and it will start producing plenty of sparks. With a little practice, you can start a fire with birch bark or dry cotton almost every time.

I was encouraged by a promotion at Militaria. I used to think this was an unnecessary accessory, but it turned out to be a hit. Now I use it to light my alcohol stove. No more struggling with a lighter or matches – now I easily produce sparks. It’s resistant to cold and moisture.

Solid workmanship, practical color for the outdoors (I chose orange), which makes it hard to lose. The scraper works much better than on many other fire starters. It's not just a gadget—it really works. Nothing peels off or falls apart, high quality gear.
