The carbon filters for the LifeStraw Go bottle definitely improve the taste of the water by removing unpleasant odors. I tried them with water from the Nida River and they worked – it's drinkable. The downside is that the filters don't have a lot of carbon, so you need to replace them more often, which is why I bought some extra.

The filters work perfectly, this is already the fourth time I’m buying them. In theory, you can filter 100 liters of water with them, but even after filtering 150 liters there’s no problem. It all depends on how contaminated the water is.
