Lansky Blade Medic Sharpener
Compact 4-in-1 sharpener engineered for swift and effective knife honing. Incorporated with two sharpening guides, a diamond rod, and a ceramic stone. Uniquely crafted slots ensure a steady sharpening angle of 22.5°, aligning with the ideal cutting edge structure. Severely dulled blades are easily rejuvenated using the tungsten carbide slot, while the second slot with ceramic rods serves regular sharpening and edge refinement.
Diamond rod and ceramic stone
The diamond rod with a 600 grit rating and a length of approximately 6 cm enables sharpening of both plain and serrated blades, as well as curved profiles like recurve or kukri. The ceramic stone with a 1000 grit rating is ideal for serrated edges and, when used in a traditional manner, is excellent for the daily upkeep of smooth blade edges.

I didn't have high hopes, but I'm satisfied. The carbide and porcelain V-shaped bits work very well. For me, the main porcelain surface is too short, but it's absolutely usable. It's compact and good if you have a cheaper soft blade.

Handy and small sharpener, very convenient for everyday use. However, I have a reservation – because of the magnet placed on the bottom, all metal shavings stick to it and it's hard to get rid of them. Besides this flaw, I can confidently recommend it.

Because of its size, it's better to be cautious when using the ceramic stone. In summary, both the ceramic and diamond parts do their job. However, I try to avoid the carbide.

It is quite convenient and quickly sharpens the cutting edge of both an ordinary kitchen knife and a combat Glock. I even sharpened a Fiskars axe with it, and the diamond file not only works well for sharpening serrated blades, but also makes an excellent awl overall. I'm satisfied, I have a Fiskars sharpener, but this one is better.
