Perfect size, comfortable and secure grip, good balance. I consider the lack of a wooden handle a plus. The blade is protected by a cover. Can be attached to a backpack.

A practical axe with pros and cons; it's convenient for chopping wood and durable. However, it doesn't work very well for cutting branches, it rusts easily, is hard to sharpen, and easy to lose. I lost mine in a small forest about two years ago and still haven't found it :) Still, it's worth recommending.

For its size, the hatchet is very good. Sharp right after purchase, but you can sharpen it even more. With the right skill, it even cuts thicker branches. You can throw it, although it's not perfect for that, but it sticks in well. The belt holder is comfortable, keeps the hatchet secure even during intense movement. I recommend it.
