Paid a little over €50, and it's very good: size as expected, well accessorized, sturdy, with very appreciable ventilation features and flexibility. It's great! Of course, it's not light, and it could have used a few additional pockets...

I really liked the Helikon-Tex Woodsman Anorak jacket from the very first outings. It looks stylish, but at the same time it feels like a genuinely practical piece for the woods, hiking, and cool weather. The fit is comfortable, it does not restrict movement, and you can easily wear a fleece or a thinner insulating layer underneath. The Coyote/Ash Grey color looks very good, not too bright, and matches outdoor gear well. What I liked most was the large front pocket, because it is convenient for carrying gloves, a beanie, a map, or other small items you want to keep close at hand. The hood covers the head well, and the anorak itself provides decent protection from wind and light bad weather. The material seems durable, the seams are neat, and the zippers work without any issues. For heavy rain, this is not a full-fledged waterproof shell jacket, but for the woods, camping, walks, and trips into nature, it is very pleasant to use. I am satisfied with the purchase; it is truly the kind of item you want to take with you.

This anorak is definitely worth every penny. Really well-made and designed piece of clothing. It's a good outer layer for those cooler months. Breathes quite well and the side zippers are perfect for dumping heat when your activity level is higher. I own two, size L for spring-summer-autumn and size XL for the winter so I can add thicker layers and maintain freedom of movement.

I’ve used the jacket long enough to write an honest review (78kg 184cm). Size L fit me great. The square design is typical for an anorak and it doesn’t invent anything new but deliver exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s just big enough to fit a warmer shirt underneath without getting too bulky. The only downside really are the smaller pockets inside the main chest pocket. You can’t fixate anything, meaning everything inside will scramble when you put the jacket on and off (since you must drag it over your head). The side zippers are great for letting in/out air and if you’re careful you can open the zippers fully and pull it over your head without scrambling everything. The fabric, stitching and zippers are all good quality and if you’re on the hunt for a practical anorak for a great price - this is it!

(I am 178 cm tall and weigh 78 kg) I chose size M, it fits perfectly, does not restrict movement, and on colder days you can easily fit an extra, warmer layer underneath — it's still comfortable. Ideal for the forest and bushcraft, I really liked the solution with the pocket under the arm – it's really convenient and functional. The sweatshirt is very well made, the material is exceptionally comfortable and soft, which positively surprised me because I expected something stiffer. Because of this, it's very pleasant to wear, and the material seems durable. I have only used it on one trip so far, but I'm sure I'll use it more often. At temperatures of 5-8 degrees, the sweatshirt combined with a mid-layer worked out excellently. The adjustment system is very well thought out. I usually wear size M and this size fits me perfectly – it's not too big and I also have room for an extra layer. I am very satisfied with the purchase and I definitely recommend it.

Light jacket (340g for the M version); Sufficiently wide in M for 1.77m / 80kg. Perfectly water-repellent fabric, seams and zipper seem very sturdy. I feel confident for bushcraft and adventurous hikes that require abrasion-resistant clothing. You have to get used to putting it on like a poncho if you're used to regular jackets. Also, a few additional pockets would be a plus.

An excellent transitional jacket for challenging weather. This exceptionally high-quality jacket brilliantly protects against light rain and gusts of wind, but it reaches its limits in colder weather. With a thick sweater, it becomes a bit difficult to get into this piece, and even more challenging to take it off again. Despite choosing the perfect size for me, I always feel like it's about to burst at the seams when putting it on; however, there are zippers on the sides to make putting it on and taking it off a bit easier. The front pouch offers several practical compartments and is accessible from the sides. The material is a successful compromise between water-repellent and breathable. I would buy it again immediately.

Very happy with the product quality I have worn this on backpacking trips and I really like the kangaroo pocket as it can be accessed even when you have a hip belt on for your backpack. The pocket is large enough that you can store some fairly large items so for example you could put a drone in there. I have never owned a Anorak before so its taken some getting used to getting in and out of it but I have now mastered this. The zippers are high quality and I really like the little button tabs at the bottom which prevents the zips from coming up. I did get the 3XL which is fairly large for me at 188cm 105kg but during the winter I tend to wear more layers so having a bigger size just makes it easier to get in and out of. I may purchase a smaller version for the warmer months.

In my opinion, this is a very good jacket – practical, well-made, and it looks solid. The only downside is the too tight, 'slim' fit, especially the sleeves. I'm 184 cm tall and weigh 90 kg, so I chose size L, which fits: the length is right, the sleeves are sewn in such a way that they don't restrict shoulder movement, and the torso is also fitted but bearable (it's fine for wearing over a shirt, but worse over a thicker sweatshirt). However, for me, the sleeves are too narrow – when I bend my arms, they press around the elbows. And when it comes to outdoor clothing, lack of freedom of movement is a big drawback. However, I kept the jacket, I give it 4 stars, because apart from that I really like it, and it will be good for summer. Plus, the price was a bargain. Additionally, I'll mention that I have another Helikon jacket, the M-65 model (also L) and it's very comfortable – no problem fitting thicker clothes under it, the sleeves are wide and comfortable. That's the pattern of a comfortable outdoor jacket. And 'slim' ones seem to be made only to follow a passing trend, not for practical-minded people, but rather for those who want to show off in the city or at a party.
