Great jacket! I always wear size L and bought L — everything fit perfectly. The material feels high-quality. There are some inconveniences when putting it on, but this is in no way related to the product itself, only to the design of this type of clothing. I might order another one in a different color for fishing. I am satisfied

Review summary
This is a lightweight, durable, and highly functional anorak for the woods, mountains, bushcraft, and everyday wear. Users praise the quality materials, solid construction, good protection from wind and light rain, roomy kangaroo pocket, and long side zips that make it easier to put on and improve ventilation significantly. The jacket allows good freedom of movement, works well with extra layers, and performs well with a backpack thanks to its more breathable back panel. The most common drawbacks are the less convenient over-the-head design typical of anoraks, limited protection in heavy rain, the lack of a few extra pockets, and a slimmer fit or narrower sleeves for some users, so many recommend sizing up if you plan to wear thicker layers underneath.

A very successful anorak, both for the woods and for everyday wear. The jacket is exceptionally lightweight, while the material feels genuinely durable. The side zippers are very helpful when putting it on and they improve ventilation. The kangaroo pocket easily holds plenty of gear.

I’ve had it for a short time, but I’m already very happy with it. From a pullover-style jacket, I expected poor ventilation and no temperature regulation, but I was pleasantly surprised. The model has very well-designed underarm zippers that go all the way down, making them easy to open and close. I definitely recommend it.

my go to top in milder weather Robust material and very well made Does not need iorning so my wife approves Very comfortable and keeps me dry in mild rain ( an unexpected bonus) Wind proof The hood design is superb and the adjustment aids a perfect fit and the elastics are well hidden out of the way superb ventalation with the full length side zips but I did have to extend the zipper tabs (no big deal) basically this is a superb product and for me money well spent

The Helikon-Tex Woodsman Anorak jacket in Coyote is a great piece for all bushcraft and outdoor enthusiasts. The durable material provides excellent protection against wind and dirt and handles tougher forest conditions without any trouble. The thoughtfully designed anorak cut does not restrict movement, and the large chest kangaroo pocket is exceptionally practical for quick access to gear. The Coyote color is very versatile and looks great both in nature and for everyday wear. In my opinion, it is a reliable and highly functional jacket that I can definitely recommend.

Size: S
I wear size S at 173 cm tall and 78 kg in weight. The material is of excellent quality, the cut is very well done, and the taiga green color goes well with almost everything. The side zippers are a practical solution — they make it easier to put on and improve ventilation. The jacket will work well both in the city and in the mountains or during survival activities, because it is comfortable and versatile. Helikon, as always, delivers a high standard, and I also recommend the Militaria store for its wide selection, attractive prices, good promotions, and very fast shipping.

The jacket looks very good. Many people complain about Helikon’s sizing, but in this case everything was fine. It fits perfectly. The material and stitching quality leave nothing to complain about. So far, I haven’t had the chance to test it in the field yet.

Paid a little over €50, and it's very good: size as expected, well accessorized, sturdy, with very appreciable ventilation features and flexibility. It's great! Of course, it's not light, and it could have used a few additional pockets...

I really liked the Helikon-Tex Woodsman Anorak jacket from the very first outings. It looks stylish, but at the same time it feels like a genuinely practical piece for the woods, hiking, and cool weather. The fit is comfortable, it does not restrict movement, and you can easily wear a fleece or a thinner insulating layer underneath. The Coyote/Ash Grey color looks very good, not too bright, and matches outdoor gear well. What I liked most was the large front pocket, because it is convenient for carrying gloves, a beanie, a map, or other small items you want to keep close at hand. The hood covers the head well, and the anorak itself provides decent protection from wind and light bad weather. The material seems durable, the seams are neat, and the zippers work without any issues. For heavy rain, this is not a full-fledged waterproof shell jacket, but for the woods, camping, walks, and trips into nature, it is very pleasant to use. I am satisfied with the purchase; it is truly the kind of item you want to take with you.

Size: XL
This anorak is definitely worth every penny. Really well-made and designed piece of clothing. It's a good outer layer for those cooler months. Breathes quite well and the side zippers are perfect for dumping heat when your activity level is higher. I own two, size L for spring-summer-autumn and size XL for the winter so I can add thicker layers and maintain freedom of movement.

Perfect for the spring/summer season in the mountains. Good resistance to abrasion. Very effective kangaroo pocket for quickly accessing everyday small items.

I’ve used the jacket long enough to write an honest review (78kg 184cm). Size L fit me great. The square design is typical for an anorak and it doesn’t invent anything new but deliver exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s just big enough to fit a warmer shirt underneath without getting too bulky. The only downside really are the smaller pockets inside the main chest pocket. You can’t fixate anything, meaning everything inside will scramble when you put the jacket on and off (since you must drag it over your head). The side zippers are great for letting in/out air and if you’re careful you can open the zippers fully and pull it over your head without scrambling everything. The fabric, stitching and zippers are all good quality and if you’re on the hunt for a practical anorak for a great price - this is it!
-
Very pleasant and well-designed product. I am curious to see if it is suitable for hunting. Mobility in the back is good. Whether it is waterproof will be shown in practice.
-
Very nice jacket, very lightweight. The zippers under the arms are very practical, especially when wearing it over a fleece. It’s just a pity that Helikon didn’t include a pouch with it to conveniently pack it into a backpack.

Very good product, I chose size S being 180 cm tall and weighing 73 kg – it fits perfectly, the sleeves are just right, and the Alpha Tactical fleece fits under the jacket without any problem. Highly recommended.
