Helikon-Tex UTS PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop 6" shorts - Tiger Stripe

Urban Tactical Shorts (UTS) are tactical shorts with a versatile fit, suitable for both urban environments and outdoor activities. Made from durable PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric, providing durability along with flexibility and comfort, they are equipped with 10 practical pockets that allow convenient carrying of gear.

The primary material is PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane) with a grammage of 220 g/m2, featuring high resistance to abrasions and damage. The Rip-Stop structure reinforces the fabric, reducing the risk of mechanical damage, and the addition of elastane improves elasticity and wearing comfort. The modern fit and reinforced seams ensure freedom of movement and durability of the shorts.

The shorts feature 10 spacious pockets:

• 2 hip pockets, classic, with reinforced edges
• 2 cargo pockets on the thighs, wide, zippered
• 2 narrow thigh pockets, with a snap closure
• 2 wide back pockets
• 2 narrow back pockets located inside the wide pockets

The shorts fasten with a YKK zipper and a wide snap closure, allowing waistband adjustment of about 6 cm. The waistband includes an elastic band for a better fit. Belt loops allow the use of a belt up to 50 mm wide, and two front loops are equipped with loops for attaching accessories.

Tiger Stripe is a family of camouflage patterns originating in Southeast Asia, the most popular variant of which is the pattern developed in the Republic of Vietnam. Its design is based on the French Lizard pattern, adapted for tropical conditions. Tiger Stripe consists of irregular, brushstroke-like stripes in shades of green and brown and wider, grayish lines, placed on an olive or khaki background. Such an arrangement works particularly well in dense jungles and tropical forests, where it effectively camouflages the silhouette among low and medium vegetation. The camouflage makes it difficult to detect at close range and allows one to blend into the dynamic, shaded vegetation background. The name "Tiger Stripe" alludes to the coat of tigers - the pattern imitates the natural striped color pattern, which works well in conditions that require effective contour breakdown in dense greenery.
