These modern tactical shorts are crafted from high-quality PoliCotton Stretch RipStop material (48% cotton, 50% polyester, 2% elastane). Known for its high resistance to abrasion and tearing, this fabric is also lighter and dries more quickly than 100% cotton material.
They represent an outstanding balance between military and civilian clothing, featuring a discreet design along with the functionality of combat pants. With an innovative cut, precise stitching, and durable fabric, these shorts ensure freedom of movement and longevity. The ample pockets and their thoughtful arrangement make these shorts ideal for urban environments and reliable for outdoor activities.
The shorts are outfitted with ten practical pockets:
- two classic ones at hip level with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (two large ones with zippers and two smaller ones with Velcro),
- four on the back (two large with two smaller located within the larger ones).

Instead of a button, the shorts use a wide Velcro strap offering a 6 cm adjustment. An elastic band in the waistband enhances the fit according to individual body features.

Belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm wide, with the two front loops featuring additional attachments for, for example, a carabiner.

Camouflage Rhodesian Camo

Rhodesian Camo is a traditional camouflage design developed in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces, now known as Zimbabwe. It was created for military operations during regional conflicts, particularly the Bush War from 1964 to 1979, and tailored to the environment of southern Africa, including arid bushland, grassy plains, and sparse vegetation. This pattern stands out due to its distinctive hand-painted look resembling brushstrokes. It features irregular horizontal shapes in green and brown hues, set against a light green or sandy backdrop. With a three-color contrasting scheme that mimics natural elements like leaves, branches, and grasses, the camouflage effectively obscures the silhouette, making detection difficult in densely vegetated areas.

    The shorts themselves are fine, but the manufacturer changed the sizing. I wear Helikon UTP pants in size L and they fit perfectly, but here size L turned out to be too small. I had to return them.

    The shorts are light and comfortable. Size M fits 181/80 with a bit of room to spare. Very well made. There are plenty of pockets, although I'm not sure the back ones will come in handy, but the phone fits in the front without any problems. An interesting model, I definitely recommend it.

    I have versions 8.5 and 11, but I prefer model 11. It has larger and deeper pockets. However, the quality of the stitching could use some improvement, because loose threads are really annoying, especially since Helikon seems to position its products as more premium.

    I bought the shorts for everyday wear and for trips out of town. They fit great, the fabric is comfortable and offers a lot of freedom of movement. The advantage is also a large number of pockets, and the quality standard from Helikon-Tex, as always, does not disappoint. After longer use, they still look very good and now belong to my favorite pairs of shorts.

    Great quality as always! I have a few pair of Helikon shorts now, it's all that I wear on summer! My waist are 98cm, and I have size XL, sits just a bit loose in the waist, but I want the rest of the shorts to be more roomy than the L are. I like shorts to be a bit baggy. Just the right amount of pockets, I use them all! :D

    The shorts are great, and the elastic material all over makes them comfortable to wear. The cut has remained the same as before. The pockets are quite spacious, although they could be a bit larger with Velcro—so that current large phones would fit easily, not just tightly. Rifle magazines, however, fit without any problem. I recommend this product, just like most things offered by this brand.
