PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop material, 2-Way Elastic technology

The PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop material used in production (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane) with a grammage of 220 g/m2 is made with 2-Way Elastic technology, providing great elasticity and resistance to abrasion and damage. It ensures the shorts fit the body and offer complete freedom of movement. The use of Rip-Stop weave effectively minimizes the risk of damage spreading to larger areas.

10 practical pockets

The model has ten practical pockets:

  • two classic ones on the hips with reinforced edges
  • four on the thighs (two large with zippers and two narrower with Velcro)
  • four at the back (two larger and two smaller placed in the larger ones)

Instead of a button, a wide Velcro allowing 6 cm of adjustment is used. An elastic tape sewn into the waist improves the fit of the shorts to individual body features.

YKK zippers, wide belt loops

All zippers are from the renowned Japanese company YKK. The belt loops are designed for belts up to 50 mm wide, with two front loops additionally having loops for attaching, for example, a carabiner.

    The shorts themselves are fine, but the manufacturer changed the sizing. I wear Helikon UTP pants in size L and they fit perfectly, but here size L turned out to be too small. I had to return them.

    The shorts are light and comfortable. Size M fits 181/80 with a bit of room to spare. Very well made. There are plenty of pockets, although I'm not sure the back ones will come in handy, but the phone fits in the front without any problems. An interesting model, I definitely recommend it.

    At 188 cm tall and 100 kg, size XL fits me very comfortably. The pockets are placed perfectly. The belt loops too. The material is comfortable for summer. Maybe only the phone pockets. I have a medium-sized phone. If I had a regular-sized phone, it wouldn’t fit in these pockets. On the other hand, if the phone pockets were larger, my phone would move around in them. And the zippers work phenomenally

    I have versions 8.5 and 11, but I prefer model 11. It has larger and deeper pockets. However, the quality of the stitching could use some improvement, because loose threads are really annoying, especially since Helikon seems to position its products as more premium.

    I bought the shorts for everyday wear and for trips out of town. They fit great, the fabric is comfortable and offers a lot of freedom of movement. The advantage is also a large number of pockets, and the quality standard from Helikon-Tex, as always, does not disappoint. After longer use, they still look very good and now belong to my favorite pairs of shorts.

    Great quality as always! I have a few pair of Helikon shorts now, it's all that I wear on summer! My waist are 98cm, and I have size XL, sits just a bit loose in the waist, but I want the rest of the shorts to be more roomy than the L are. I like shorts to be a bit baggy. Just the right amount of pockets, I use them all! :D

    The shorts are great, and the elastic material all over makes them comfortable to wear. The cut has remained the same as before. The pockets are quite spacious, although they could be a bit larger with Velcro—so that current large phones would fit easily, not just tightly. Rifle magazines, however, fit without any problem. I recommend this product, just like most things offered by this brand.

    Great shorts, the UTS cut works perfectly. The 11" inseam length is ideal. An additional plus is the "holiday" Rhodesian camouflage. I recommend them in any camouflage.

    After a month of use I can say they are fine. I really like the camouflage, but that's a matter of taste. For people with a larger belly, the elastic waistband is a big advantage. Plus, it's a product from a Polish company, so you can support a local brand.
