Helikon-Tex Raid Shirt Uniform Shirt - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

Combat shirt with a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for operations in woodland, urban terrain, and at the shooting range. Made from PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric with IRR/NIR technology, it provides durability, flexibility, and reduced visibility under night vision. The design is complemented by 8 practical pockets, elbow reinforcements with space for protective inserts, and a raglan sleeve construction that increases freedom of movement. The Raid shirt forms a uniform set with SFU Mk2 or BDU Mk2 pants.

PolyCotton fabric, Rip-Stop weave, elbow reinforcements, and pockets for pads

The model is made from PolyCotton fabric with a grammage of 220 g/m2, combining polyester (50%), cotton (48%), and elastane (2%). The Rip-Stop weave reinforces the material and limits tearing in the event of mechanical damage, while the elastane blend is responsible for two-way stretch. The fabric has undergone IRR/NIR treatment (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective), thanks to which it absorbs, reflects, and transmits near-infrared radiation in a manner similar to the natural woodland background, reducing silhouette contrast in night vision devices.

The design uses raglan sleeves, which eliminate seams from the tops of the shoulders and increase arm range of motion while wearing accouterment or a backpack. Fabric reinforcements have been placed in critical forearm and elbow zones to protect against abrasion, and they contain closable pockets for optional protective inserts. The cuffs are equipped with velcro tabs, allowing their width to be adjusted precisely to the wrists.

8 roomy pockets

The shirt is equipped with 8 practical pockets:

  • two large shoulder pockets - roomy, secured with a dual closure system consisting of velcro and hidden Canadian buttons on webbing under a flap (with the option to cover the velcro using blanks),
  • two small shoulder pockets - sewn directly onto the large shoulder pockets, flat, secured with velcro webbing, intended for carrying a baseplate compass,
  • two chest pockets - roomy pockets fastened with two hidden Canadian buttons under flaps, equipped with internal webbing loops to secure accessories on a lanyard,
  • two internal pockets - discreet pockets positioned at chest level made of breathable mesh, including one closed with a zipper by the Japanese brand YKK.

main closure protected by a placket

The main closure of the shirt consists of durable Canadian buttons sewn onto sturdy canvas webbing, covered by a fabric placket that protects against snagging on pieces of tactical equipment.

velcro panels

Velcro panels are placed on the shoulder pocket flaps and above the chest pockets. They are used for attaching emblems such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches. This solution makes it easier to customize the shirt according to the user's requirements.

wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is currently used by the Polish Armed Forces. It was the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced into widespread use in the Third Polish Repubic. The 1993 pattern combines mimetic and deforming properties through the use of irregular spots of various sizes. The color scheme, based on green, brown, and black, has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making "Pantera" a good choice for operations in the native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage pattern are also part of the basic equipment for students of Military Uniform Classes.

IRR feature
IRR

Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.

Rip-Stop feature
Rip-Stop

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
PolyCotton Stretch feature
PolyCotton Stretch
PolyCotton Stretch is a modern fabric that is a combination of cotton and polyester with the addition of elastic fibers, most often elastane. Such a set combines the breathability and softness of cotton with the durability and resilience of polyester and elasticity that provides freedom of movement. This material is pleasant to the touch, dries faster than pure cotton, creases less and fits better.
