Raccoon Mk2 backpack with a 24-liter capacity is made of high-quality, durable 500D Cordura®, which ensures abrasion resistance and long-lasting durability. The backpack’s design guarantees comfort, even during extended use.
The main compartment, secured with a two-way YKK zipper, features a hydration bladder pocket with several openings for the mouthpiece, as well as a smaller mesh pocket with a zipper.
The Raccoon Mk2 model features a large front pocket, comparable in size to the main compartment. Inside, there is a simple organizer that allows for efficient organization of your gear.
Adjustable, wide shoulder straps with soft padding distribute the weight evenly under heavy loads, ensuring a high level of comfort. The inside is lined with soft, breathable mesh fabric. The quick-release system allows you to quickly remove the backpack in an emergency. Additionally, adjustable chest and hip belt enhance comfort.
MOLLE/PALS-compatible straps allow you to attach additional pockets and carry essential accessories, such as urgent need items.
An elastic cord is woven into the outer pocket, allowing for the quick attachment of additional items, such as a jacket or sleeping pad. The Velcro panel on the front of the backpack allows for the attachment of patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches. Side compression straps allow you to reduce the backpack’s volume.

Durable and comfortable material, solid construction. The backpack is sleek and at the same time very spacious. It has many compartments and a zippered pocket, so everything is well protected. It works great for day trips, but I’ve also used it for two-day trips and it was just as practical.
Excellent material quality, versatile usability. The internal division of the front compartment is great, well-structured with separated Velcro pockets. The molle compatibility is a plus, but in exchange, we have to give up additional side pockets, which leaves a bit of a sense of lack. The zipper is massive, the material quality is excellent - a robust, sturdy, and durable backpack. What I miss is the inability to securely fasten the cross straps on the shoulder straps when they are not in use.
I am very happy with the Helikon-Tex Raccoon Mk2 24 L backpack - Black. It is very well designed, comfortable and practical for everyday use. The quality is definitely there. The only thing missing, in my opinion, is a system to secure the straps underneath when you're not using them. They are meant to attach a mat or sleeping bag, but otherwise they hang down a bit, which is a shame. Aside from this detail, excellent backpack.
A practical and spacious backpack with a compact size, excellently designed and carefully made. I appreciate the flexible cord for attaching, for example, a sleeping mat. Thanks to the MOLLE system, it’s easy to add additional pockets. I highly recommend this product.
Great, well-thought-out patrol backpack. Small, but that's the point – it lets you take what you need for several hours outdoors without overstuffing your pockets. A thermos or extra gear fits without a problem. It does its job. I definitely recommend it.
Helikon is quality! The stitching, colors, and hardware are great. I'm satisfied. Everything can be adjusted to fit your height. Compact and roomy. I'm thinking of buying a hydration system too; there's a space for it here. Recommend!!
The backpack is well-made and offers extensive adjustment options both for the load and the carrying system. During forest hikes over distances of 10–15 km with a load of 6–8 kg, it works excellently. The options for attaching additional pouches or equipment using the molle system are also very practical.
I have been using it for about 3-4 months and I am satisfied with its sturdiness and comfortable carrying system. The backpack works great both during hiking trips and in the city. The only thing I miss is side nets or pockets for a bottle.
I have been using this backpack for over a year. The material is exceptionally durable, and for its size, the backpack is very spacious. I use it every day – for work, cycling, and in the mountains – it has been washed several times and nothing has happened to it. The MOLLE system is very functional. I definitely recommend it.
I am really positively surprised. I put off the decision to buy for a long time, but I have to admit, this product really surprised me. It has many different pockets (both larger and smaller), and the "mole" system allows you to pack many things inside and attach additional equipment.
So far, Helikon has not disappointed my expectations – it is solid, well-designed, and works well both in the city and outdoors. The arrangement of the main and internal pockets allows for convenient organization of equipment. For me, a big advantage is the MOLLE system, which allows for increased backpack capacity and quick access to essential items, like a jacket. Foxholl performs excellently here.
This is already my second purchase of this backpack. I used the previous one every day at work for many years and it would still be functional, it looked almost like new (cordura works great)... the only drawback was the wear and tear of the imesh mesh on the back and the crumbling white foam... I compared many other backpacks and chose Raccoon again. If Helikon came up with a better material for the back, Wisport wouldn't stand a chance against it...
This backpack does its job perfectly – it's lightweight, comfortable, and durable. The pockets are arranged in a practical way, making it easy to organize small items, and the 24 l capacity is enough for both everyday needs and short trips. The MultiCam pattern looks great and the material itself seems very sturdy. It's a successful backpack for everyday use.
Great backpack. At this price, it's hard to find anything better when it comes to this style. You can easily fit a laptop inside. The backpack is spacious, and the arrangement of compartments and hooks is well-designed. I highly recommend it, especially when it's on sale!
The backpack is very comfortable and is another addition to my Wisport collection. I will definitely use it in various situations. It fits well on the back, and the number of pockets is just right.
