Very good pants with a universal purpose. Before purchasing, it is a good idea to try them on, as they have a rather tight (slim fit) cut. In this version of the MCDU made from DyNyCo fabric, the pants are much more stretchy and allow more freedom of movement than the model made from NyCo. On the other hand, the material seems to be less durable.

After previously having the camouflage-pattern variant (Helikon-Tex - MCDU NyCo Rip-Stop trousers - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland), I decided on the MCDU DyNyCo Rip-Stop trousers in RAL 7013. The trousers fit just as well and continue to impress with their well-thought-out features and practical pockets. The material is probably somewhat different from the previous version (DyNyCo instead of NyCo), but it still gives a high-quality and robust impression. I particularly like the RAL 7013 colour because it is understated and can be worn unobtrusively both in the woods and in the city.

I'm very happy with these pants. They are comfortable to wear, allow excellent freedom of movement, and the pockets are well designed, placed exactly where they should be, with plenty of storage. My only minor complaint is that they are slightly too long because the S Short size wasn't available. However, this doesn't really affect usability since the cuffs and the area below the knees can be tightened, so the fit is still great overall. I would definitely recommend them for this price.

I’ve used them long enough to write an honest review (78kg 184cm). Despite the name, these are tactical sweatpants, not something you’d wear in a combat environment – and there’s nothing wrong with that! I bought the pants to be used for high-speed trekking, and they suit well for this purpose as long as you have a beaten path or a trail to follow. For my offroad/through the bush activities I stick to the more expensive brands and tougher materials. The best parts of the pants are the ventilation paired with the lightweight fabric making it comfortable to move at a high speed in hot weather. The stitching is well made and the fabric and zipper is of good quality. 12 pockets are overkill. They are quite narrow and the way they’re built, some overlapping, you can’t use them fully. If you stuff them all you’ll look like the Michelin man. Be mindful and pack intelligent. I prefer fewer and bigger pockets, but it suits the high-speed design. Lastly, I haven’t bought a pair of Helikon pants in a while and went with M-L as I used to but these are a bit longer than before(?) The legs are a couple of cm too long for sneakers but quite good for boots, so they don’t pull up when kneeling. Overall, a good product but I wouldn’t buy them at full price.

The pants are well made, have a practical cut, well-thought-out details and functionality. They fit the body very well and, compared to other Helikon models, are not as roomy. The size fits, although personally I missed the M-short version, as it would have been ideal for me. This is another pair in my collection. Rating 5/5.

The pants work great during ASG games and I honestly recommend them for that use. As for standing activities – I have no complaints. However, when sitting for a longer time, e.g. while fishing, the material quickly gets damp and it's necessary to change underwear.

Helikon MCDU DyNyCo Rip-Stop Pants - Black have their advantages, but even the L Short size turns out to be too long. Every pair of Helikons I buy, I have to immediately take to a tailor.

In my opinion, these are the best pants from this company. High-quality workmanship, a large range of adjustment, lots of pockets, and good breathability. At this price, it's hard to find a better option – I recommend them!
