Helikon-Tex MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Sweatshirt - Flecktarn

Military sweatshirt designed in the style of the MBDU (Modern Battle Dress Uniform) with a button-down front. Crafted from durable NyCo Rip-Stop fabric, its anatomical design and side panels, made from stretch VeraStretch material, offer a snug fit and ease of movement.

Features four pockets:
- two zippered chest pockets,
- and two sleeve pockets located at shoulder level.

Above the pockets, stitched velcro tapes allow for the attachment of various emblems, like the national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches, to give the sweatshirt a personalized look.

Mesh panels under the armpits enhance air circulation for improved breathability.

Flecktarn is a traditional German military camouflage design, officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. This pattern relies on small, irregular spots in five colors – typically dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. With numerous dots and blurred edges between the colors, Flecktarn effectively breaks up the wearer's silhouette in forest areas, as well as in scrubland or against forest undergrowth backgrounds. The camouflage is tailored for European climates, particularly the temperate zone. Today, Flecktarn continues to be a standard pattern for the German army and is also used by other military forces and police officers. Its success has led to numerous adaptations and variants in other nations.
