Great jacket Size - the jacket does have a looser cut, but it is quite narrow under the arms (great for mobility with a backpack, but not much room for layering - with the Gunfighter in size L and the Patriot Mk2 at 175 cm and 75 kg, it is just barely enough in the armpit area) + the sleeves are a bit longer for my build. Great material, it does not let much through, handles light rain without any problems, and the breathability on a normal walk is absolutely fine (compared to a regular softshell, it is very breathable). So far I have only tested it a few times while hiking and during bushcraft/bivouac use. For me, the price-to-performance ratio is definitely excellent. I really like the position of the main pockets - absolutely great in combination with a hiking / expedition backpack. I was also deciding between this and the Pilgrim, but on the Gunfighter I like the tactical look more, as well as the slightly better wind and water resistance. I can definitely confirm that this is a legendary piece from Helikon. Very satisfied

Quality: superb! Size: ~ so, so... Usually 2XL size is comfy enough for me... With this jacket I can barely squeeze wearing only t-shirt, not even mentioning try this with jumper or something... Just for the record: I'm rather tall but not super size build ;) And because delivery time is taking ages - I can't be bothered with return process especially there is no size bigger available for swap... So, I'm keeping this jacket because I love quality, but still searching for "big and comfy enough" model...

The jacket does its job well—as is the case with Helikon, I wasn’t disappointed. At 186 cm tall and 92 kg, size XL fits perfectly, and even after putting on a hoodie there is still a bit of room left, which suits me very well because I’m not a fan of very tight-fitting clothing. A fleece worn underneath retains heat well, so it works great for autumn days, and it also handles slight frost just fine. The large number of pockets for small items and other everyday essentials is a big advantage, as are the underarm vents, which are very practical. I spent a long time deciding between this model and the MK Trooper II, but for autumn weather this choice turned out to be definitely better. The Trooper is probably better suited to active outdoor recreation. I recommend it.

This is a very comfortable and functional jacket, suitable for both everyday wear and outdoor activities. It effectively protects against the wind, and the material is durable and pleasant to wear. The numerous pockets are a major advantage, as they allow you to keep all the necessary items close at hand. The cut provides freedom and does not restrict movement. In my opinion, this is a genuinely successful softshell, especially for cooler and windy days.

Good jacket at a reasonable price. Helikon Tex is a brand I quite like in general, although not all of their products offer good value for money. In this case, it's a jacket I've had for years and I've purchased a new one in another color; during all this time, it has given me excellent results, as I use it almost daily. What I have noticed is a slight difference in sizing—the old jacket I use is size S, and the new one, even though it is the same size (but a different color), seems more fitted and tailored. I recommend purchasing this product.

This is already my second Gunfighter jacket from Helikon-Tex and once again I am very satisfied with the purchase. My previous jacket served me for a long time, so I had high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised that the manufacturer improved several details compared to the previous version. Special mention goes to the new material under the zippered ventilation openings under the arms – it is now more practical and feels better than before. Apart from that, the jacket still has all the features I valued in the previous model: it effectively protects against wind, handles light rain, is comfortable, and the pocket layout is very functional. It works great both for everyday use and for trips outdoors. High quality workmanship, comfort, and functionality – I can definitely recommend this product.

I've only been using the jacket for a short time, but I can already see that it is very practical and does its job well – it effectively protects against wind, drizzle, and wet snow. The high collar protects the neck, and the adjustable hood covers the head well. The vents under the arms allow for better ventilation during more intense activity. The only small downside for me is the high placement of the side pockets, which aren't very comfortable for keeping your hands in. Additionally, when I bought the jacket, the selection of colors and sizes was very limited, and I really needed it.

I am very satisfied with the Helikon-Tex Gunfighter jacket in Shadow Grey – it's an excellent choice. The jacket is extremely comfortable and, to my surprise, provides great warmth – when the temperature is above 5°C, just a T-shirt underneath is enough and I feel very comfortable. The Shark Skin material with Windblocker membrane perfectly protects against gusts of wind, ensuring high thermal comfort. I especially like the large number of pockets, arranged very thoughtfully – they can hold all the necessary items. The jacket is solidly finished and very functional, so I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for a durable softshell.
