Tiger Stripe is a family of camouflage from the Southeast Asia region, with the most popular variant designed in the Republic of Vietnam. Its design is based on the French Lizard pattern, adapted for tropical conditions. Tiger Stripe consists of irregular brushstroke-like stripes in shades of green and brown, along with wider gray-brown lines on an olive or khaki background. This composition works exceptionally well in dense jungles and tropical forests, effectively concealing silhouettes among low and medium vegetation. This camouflage makes detection difficult at close range, blending seamlessly into the dynamic, shadowed plant landscape. The name Tiger Stripe refers to the pattern of tiger stripes – a pattern that mimics natural, striped color arrangements, ideal for breaking up outlines in dense greenery.
