Ultralight single-person mattress in blue color, this inflatable trekking model is suitable for use in the summer season. It is perfect for camping, bivouacking, bushcraft expeditions, and fishing. Made from durable 20D nylon, it combines low weight with high user comfort.

Thermal insulation coefficient R-Value

The Trekker NG model is characterized by a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 1.6, determined according to the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter indicates the degree of insulation from the ground - the higher the value, the more effective the reduction of heat loss.

Interpretation of R-Value in the outdoor industry:

  • 1.0-2.0 - suitable for summer conditions (night temperatures above approx. 10 deg. C),
  • 2.1-3.5 - usage in spring-summer-fall (approx. 0-10 deg. C),
  • 3.6-5.0 - cool conditions, around 0 deg. C and negative temperatures down to approx. -5 /-10 deg. C,
  • 5.1-7.0 - winter use, temperatures below 0 deg. C,
  • above 7.0 - winter conditions with increased insulation requirements.

Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), the type of ground, and the user's individual resistance to cold.

20D nylon, ergonomic design

The mattress is made from light and durable 20D nylon, resistant to abrasions and damage in the field. The innovative chamber system limits slipping during sleep and ensures even body support.

The mattress features starfish-shaped perforations, which reduce the mattress's weight and improve its ergonomics in the field. The special cutout arrangement makes the mat work pointwise, better conforming to the body's shape and ground unevenness. On rocky or forested terrain, it facilitates even weight distribution, increasing sleep comfort, and the flexible structure allows it to bend in various directions, filling depressions and stabilizing the user's position, even in a hammock.

valve design

The mattress can be quickly inflated thanks to the valve with anti-backflow system. Air release is done by pressing the tab, allowing the mat to be folded efficiently without using much force.

The set with the mattress includes a transport cover. When folded to the dimensions of 14 x 10 cm, it takes up minimal space in a backpack. The low weight of 400 g simplifies transportation during hiking trips.

    The mattress is comfortable, doesn't take up much space, and is lightweight. You can easily inflate it in 10 breaths, and to fold it, all you need to do is press the valve.

    After deflating and folding, the mattress takes up very little space and always fits in the cover. After 10 breaths, you can sleep. I was worried the pattern would bother me while sleeping, but it didn’t at all. I haven’t checked its durability on forest ground yet.

    Well-made mattress, ensures comfortable rest. A petite woman can inflate it in fifteen breaths. The air doesn’t leak, the valve is solid. Folding is simple. At this price, it's hard to find a better option – it is lightweight and very compact when folded. Highly recommended.

    I am really surprised! It packs away perfectly, is tiny and very light. I used to use a self-inflating mat, but I probably won’t go back to it, except maybe in winter, because the size difference is huge. I expected weak material, like a beach ball, but in practice it seems durable despite being thin. Inflation takes only a little longer than with the mat, 10-15 breaths are enough, and releasing air is much easier than in the self-inflating mat. Highly recommended!
