I bought it for mountain trips and tested it right away in difficult conditions. It keeps you warm at temperatures around 5-10 degrees Celsius. It effectively shields against light wind, but stronger winds do get through (which is understandable because there is no membrane). To my surprise, it handles light rain well, and even during a downpour – although it got wet, the inner layers stayed dry.

Very good softshell. I was positively surprised by the quality of the stitching, fabric, and cut. The outer layer is a pleasant-to-the-touch, stretchy polyester lined with a thin fleece. The lack of a membrane means it doesn't protect well against wind, but it wicks away moisture very well and doesn't feel like wearing artificial foil. The only downside is the lack of wind protection under the zipper. Despite that, I recommend this product without hesitation – it really is solid.
