I have yet to come across a Fjord product that has disappointed me – they really have high quality.
The Fjord Nansen Roald jacket is crafted from lightweight Micropile Termic DWR fleece, offering protection against wind and ensuring excellent thermal comfort. Additionally, the material features a DWR finish, which minimizes moisture absorption and enhances the jacket's technical capabilities.
Features include three zippered YKK pockets. The shoulders and sleeves are reinforced with durable Dura Tec fabric. Drawstrings located at the collar and the hem keep out moisture and cold. Sleeves are finished with soft edging.
Micropile Termic DWR is a contemporary fleece material with a water-repellent coating. Its unique structure effectively wicks moisture away from the skin, ensuring dryness and warmth. The fleece dries rapidly, is anti-allergenic, and won't trigger allergies. It offers full protection from wind and light rain. Resistant to wrinkles, Micropile Termic maintains its properties throughout its lifetime.

This is already my second pair of this model, so that's a big plus. Greetings from the frosty Suwałki! Additionally, it's a product from a Polish manufacturer – I recommend it.

I bought this model again because the previous one worked well for 6 years of intensive use in the mountains. Excellent for temperatures from 50°F to 59°F, it also works great as a jacket for walks. It retains heat very well, and when paired with an anorak, it's also suitable for winter in the mountains with the proper layers underneath. It doesn't restrict movement, and the reinforcements can handle even a heavy 66-pound backpack.

It's more like a fleece than a jacket, but it's really pleasant and worth its price. It got a bit pilled after a machine wash, but that was my fault – it's better to use special detergents for washing. Overall, I recommend it.
