The Eberlestock Vapor 5000 backpack is a lightweight, modular design from the EMOD series, offering a capacity of 81.9 liters. Designed with a central front zippered pocket and two flexible side pockets for efficient gear organization. Constructed from robust 450D Rip-Stop aramid with PU coating, it ensures minimal weight while providing enhanced resistance to moisture and physical damage. Compatible with the Eberlestock Mainframe (sold separately), this backpack serves as a versatile option for both single-day and extended outdoor adventures.

Constructed from robust 450D Rip-Stop aramid, the backpack's fabric structure is fortified to minimize the chances of tearing. Additionally, a polyurethane (PU) coating is applied to the material, enhancing its resistance to moisture and safeguarding the contents from rain and mild dampness.

The model features a spacious main compartment that can be accessed in two ways: through a roll-top collar secured with buckles, and via a front flap with a zipper, providing swift access to the backpack's contents. Inside, there are two open pockets along with a divider for a hydration insert.

On the sides, there are two deep, flexible pockets designed to securely hold water bottles, spotting scopes, tripods, and other essentials. Additionally, the backpack includes one front zippered pocket made from stretchy fabric, designed for quick access to small accessories.

Part of the modular EMOD system, the construction fastens directly to the Mainframe (sold separately). It connects using YKK zippers and 25 mm Duraflex HD buckles, which anchor the backpack securely to the sides of the frame.

The system incorporates detachable buckles with compression straps, enabling the backpack to be removed from the frame, thus offering extra transport capacity—ideal for carrying equipment or heavy loads near the body's center of gravity.

Doppel:Ganger represents Eberlestock's unique camouflage line, featuring a dual-image method where an abstract veil layer overlays a traditional pattern of natural-looking stains. This technique enhances depth and contrast, obscuring silhouettes and causing viewers to focus on one of the layers, thereby boosting the camouflage's effectiveness.

The Skye variant incorporates light browns, yellows, and earthy tones, making it ideal for blending into Europe's deciduous forests (particularly in autumn), field and grove mosaics, rocky mountain terrains, and arid lowland regions. Known as the most adaptable pattern from Eberlestock, it suits the diverse landscapes of the temperate zone well, presenting an alternative to transitional camouflages like MultiCam, PenCott Badlands, and WASP I Z2.
