MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The goal was to design a universal camo pattern effective in various terrain and environments.
The MultiCam pattern is composed of seven colors, creating smooth transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. It blends with the background, adopting green shades in forests or browns and beiges in open terrain - particularly effective during autumn and in dry vegetation in Central and Eastern Europe. MultiCam is globally recognized and used by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, this camouflage was officially adopted by the U.S. Army as the pattern for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available to civilians, making it a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
