Deuter Aircontact Lite Backpack 50 + 10 l - Atlantic/Ink

The backpack is crafted from a blend of two materials: 140D polyamide and 600D polyester. With the drawstring extension concealed under the top flap, the standard capacity of 50 liters can be expanded by an additional 10 liters. Featuring two roomy compartments, it can effortlessly hold all necessary gear. Its compact design and numerous pockets make it ideal for weekend adventures.

The backpack features two primary compartments that can be merged to form a larger space. A flap closes the upper compartment, while a zipper secures the lower one. The backpack's capacity expands with a drawstring extension found beneath the top flap. Inside, there's a pocket for a water reservoir with a maximum of 3 liters. The front of the backpack includes a large elastic pocket and loops for securing items like a helmet. Side loops allow for the attachment of additional gear, such as ice axes or trekking poles. Elastic pockets on both sides can hold items like bottles. Compartments at the bottom and in the top flap offer space for items such as a sleeping bag, boots, or damp clothes. The backpack is fitted with a chest strap and a hip strap, which has two small pockets. Compression straps help in effectively reducing the backpack's volume.

The model is distinguished by the Aircontact Lite carrying system, which increases the comfort of the backpack over long distances. The system consists of panels made of foam, which ensure proper weight distribution and eliminate pressure points on the back, preventing any chafing. The foam used dynamically adapts to the pace of walking, ensuring adequate air circulation. The back panel is additionally stiffened with aluminum rails arranged in an X shape, which allow the carrying system to better fit the back.

Precise adjustment is provided by the VariQuick system, which allows to adjust the backpack to the height and build of the user. The S-shaped carrying straps are covered with mesh on the inside for comfortable carrying and ventilation. The adjustable Vari-Flex hip belt has been covered with foam to prevent chafing.
