This binocular balances high magnification and a wide field of view, while delivering high surface brightness. Like the entire Delta Optical Forest II line, its optical system is comprised of 8 elements in 6 groups, featuring high-quality prisms made from BaK4 glass.
Equipped with phase coatings and silver, the binoculars deliver an exceptionally sharp and bright image. Alongside the prisms, all lenses in the Forest II models are coated with superior anti-reflection coatings, ensuring high light transmission and neutral image colors. The well-etched interiors of the tubes minimize unwanted reflections and ghosting.
Every Forest II series binocular features a smooth central focusing knob and individual diopter adjustment in the right eyepiece. The plastic eyepiece cups ( Twist-Up type) extend, allowing the eyepieces to be comfortably adapted to the observer's needs.
Forest II series binoculars are built to endure challenging weather conditions. Their sealed casing allows use in wet environments and rain. They can be immersed in water up to 1 meter deep for 3 minutes, and the nitrogen filling prevents the lenses from fogging.
They present an ideal middle ground between compact 42mm binoculars and the larger, heavier models with 56-63mm lenses. Despite the versatile 50-mm objective lens, the latest Forest II models have varied magnifications, enabling selection based on your preferences.
