The Contigo Byron thermal mug in Gunmetal with an automatic Snapseal closure system that guarantees protection against spills. Made of BPA-free stainless steel. The double walls made using vacuum technology have very good isothermal properties, guaranteeing that hot drinks stay hot for 6 hours and cold drinks for up to 12 hours.

Snapseal mechanism and vacuum technology
Snapseal is a simple and reliable closure system used in thermal mugs. It allows one-handed operation – just slide the latch up to open the spout and down to close it securely. When closed, the mug is 100% leak-proof, preventing accidental spills. Snapseal does not require pressing buttons or unscrewing the lid, and its design makes cleaning and daily use easy.
Vacuum technology means the mug has double walls with the space between them evacuated of gases (filled with vacuum). This provides excellent thermal insulation and prevents condensation on the outside of the mug during significant temperature differences. Mugs made with this technology keep liquids warm for up to four hours and cold for up to twelve.
