This is no winner, with pluses and minuses. The fabric of the sweatband is thick, so with all fun technologies aside, it stimulates sweating even in cooler temperatures. Yeah, it does spread the moisture around and the cooling tech is slightly noticeable, but what's the use if it only works when you're already sweating. Better would be if it prevented it and it just doesn't. A lighter thinner fabric around would help prevent it. Second the "screen" is curved so it prevents lateral sunlight hitting the eyes, that's nice, but it also hinders peripheral vision so not helpful in traffic. The fabric on the head is nice, thin an feels airy (although a bit smartly placed mesh is always better) so that ok. I understand the wrongly placed velcro could hinder, a millimeter haircut like mine didn't bother it. So it's an ok, well-thought out cap but it relies too much on marketing-savvy tech instead of logical old-school reasoning (keep it light, thin and airy).

The construction is based on Omni-Freeze technology, which uses uniquely shaped fibers that effectively dissipate heat and lower the temperature of the material, providing greater comfort during activity. On the other hand, Omni-Wick technology is responsible for wicking moisture to the inside of the fabric, from where it evaporates quickly, helping to keep you dry and minimizing the risk of chafing. At the back of the cap, there is a hook-and-loop fastener, i.e. an adjustable Velcro strap, allowing for a precise fit to the circumference of the head.
