The cover is solid and does not give the impression of being a cheap product. It has strong, thickened edges, which is important because the dedicated shovel is quite sharp. The shovel fits tightly, but without any problem, and holds stably inside. At the back, there is a wide loop along the entire length of the cover, finished just as shown in the pictures. If you are planning to purchase a Cold Steel entrenching tool, it is worth considering this cover.
