The Cold Steel Diamond Spontoon Hawk by its design is reminiscent of American tomahawksów intended for combat. The head of the characteristic diamond shape with two cutting edges converging into a sharp spike is characterized by excellent penetration, thanks to which the tomahawk is ideal for piercing. Someóre traditional tomahawks were equipped with a barrel placed on the hilt and a hollow handle, which together made it possible to use the hatchet as a pipe. The Diamond Spontoon Hawk is equipped with a dummy pipe head, whichóra can be used as a hammer.
The head is made of forged 1055 carbon steel, whichós heat treatment has been done in such a wayóas to ensure high impact strength while ensuring good working sharpness.
The handle on which the head is set is made of durable hickory wood.

A definite plus is the new matte finish, which is different from the previous glossy black coating. The tool is quite comfortable to use, although I think CS still makes their tomahawks too heavy. However, after using a grinder, it will be fine ;]
