Carson SkyChaser 16-133.5x70 mm Telescope
A lightweight refractor designed for beginners and intermediate astronomy enthusiasts. Thanks to its compact design and short optical tube, the equipment will easily fit in a bag, proving itself both for home use and field trips.
magnification 133.5x, 3x Barlow lens
The lens with a diameter of 70 mm and a focal length of 400 mm provides a maximum magnification of 133.5x. Two Kellner-type eyepieces are included:
- K25 mm - provides a magnification of 16x
- K9 mm - offers a magnification of 44.5x
A 3x Barlow lens allows even higher magnifications while maintaining good image quality. Resolution capability is 2" (Rayleigh) and 1.7” (Dawes), while the limiting stellar magnitude is 16.7 mag.
Easy object tracking
Tracking planets and stars becomes easier with the 8x21 mm optical finder, which makes it easy to quickly position the telescope on the desired object. The image is not inverted, which allows you to use the equipment for daytime landscape observation as well.
Stability and mobility
The unit has an aluminum table tripod with folding capability. The height adjustment range from 30 to 110 cm allows you to adapt to different observation conditions. The whole unit fits in a carrying bag with a zipper, making it significantly easier to carry.
