Very nice product and high quality. I've used various monoculars for many years. My first was a Tasco Essentials 10x25 bought many years ago also from Militaria. It was durable, but finally came apart. Recently, I bought another Tasco, but compared to Carson, the difference in image quality is huge. If you plan to buy a monocular, it's worth paying extra and choosing Carson. I appreciate its compact size, light weight, and image quality. The set includes a case and a carabiner, though as a keychain it doesn't really work well. I also have a Vortex Solo – it gives a great picture, but it's heavy and I’d hate to damage it. Like with knives – the best one is the one you have with you. With this weight, size, image quality, and price (you won't regret losing or getting it wet), it's the perfect option for your pocket, pouch, or backpack.
