MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. It aimed to develop a flexible camouflage pattern effective in diverse terrains and varying environmental conditions. The MultiCam design features seven colors, forming gradient transitions between green, brown, and beige shades. Consequently, it dynamically adjusts to the surroundings, displaying green hues in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert landscapes - performing exceptionally well in Central and Eastern European settings during autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has earned global recognition and is employed by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage for soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the prior Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available for civilian use, making it a favored option among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
