Gore Softshell material, G-loft filling, ventilation system

The exterior is crafted from Gore Softshell material, which is both windproof and waterproof, ensuring excellent breathability. Inside the jacket, lightweight, synthetic G-Loft down is used to maintain thermal comfort. A ventilation system with detachable side seam openings allows for easy adjustment of airflow.

4 practical pockets

The G-Loft ISG 2.0 version includes four functional pockets:

  • featuring two front pockets lined with micro fleece,
  • and two shoulder pockets with Velcro for attaching patches.

Detachable hood, waterproof zipper

The jacket features a removable hood with two-way adjustment, completed with elastic drawstrings. The hood's interior is lined with thermopolar fabric, enhancing its thermal insulation capabilities. A zipper runs the entire length of the jacket, offering waterproof properties and is safeguarded by a windproof strip and chin guard. An internal elastic drawstring allows for adjustment at the jacket's bottom.

    I am very satisfied with this jacket. It is well-made and looks attractive. It's not designed for cold winter temperatures, but it works perfectly for spring or autumn. It protects excellently against wind and rain. Its price is quite high, but the quality—which is not standard these days—fully justifies it.

    Calling this product a jacket might be a bit misleading. It feels more like a hybrid hoodie to me. In the areas insulated with G-Loft, it is warm. The sleeves are more like the thickness typical of softshell sweatshirts. It works best at around 8 degrees Celsius. On colder days and in the wind, you need to put on an extra layer. If someone is looking for a warmer softshell for winter, I recommend looking at products from companies like Helikon or M-Tac, which are clearly thicker.

    The jacket is very well made and I suppose it will work great as an extra layer. Unfortunately, I bought it based on incorrect information about protection against cold down to -30 degrees, which has since been corrected. I'm currently looking for something for even colder weather, so I returned this model and chose the HIG. As always, the return process was smooth, so I recommend the militaria.pl store.
