Woodland camo

Woodland, also known as US Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the American armed forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It features large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, providing excellent camouflaging and distortion properties, especially in forested areas. Due to its effectiveness and global recognition, it inspired numerous variations adopted by over 60 uniformed formations worldwide. This pattern also had a significant impact on pop culture, transitioning from military applications to everyday fashion.
