Bushnell Spectator Sport 12x50 Focus Free Binoculars

The compact model of the binoculars from the Bushnell Spectator Sport series features a fixed magnification of 12x and an objective lens diameter of 50 mm. With the use of prisms in the Porro system, the binoculars provide a more spatial and three-dimensional image than its compact counterpart with a roof prism. It utilizes high-quality Bak-4 optical glass. The anti-reflective Multi-Coated coatings on the lenses ensure a clear and bright image.

The equipment is equipped with an optical system Focus-Free, characterized by exceptional depth of field - from a few meters to infinity. These parameters allow for observation without the need for any adjustment, hence binoculars from this series do not have a central knob or focusing knobs on the eyepieces.

This solution is particularly useful when the distance to the observed object changes dynamically, such as in the case of observing fast-moving animals, sports events, air shows, or car rallies. However, it is worth noting that these binoculars are not intended for close observations, and the minimum focusing distance depends on the individual accommodative capabilities of the eyes.

The Bushnell Spectator Sport model meets the IPX4 waterproofing standard. The body is filled with nitrogen, which prevents the internal optics from fogging. The equipment can be used without worry in humid climates or with sudden temperature changes.
