Fantastic binoculars, the image is very sharp. Compared to my previous Edixa, the Bushnell is definitely better. I definitely recommend it.
Bushnell Forge 8x42 Terrain Binoculars
The Forge series binoculars feature a fixed 8x magnification and a 42 mm objective lens. Utilizing an optical system based on Roof-type prisms, the manufacturer has crafted a design that is both compact and convenient to handle.
BaK-4 prisms, anti-reflective coatings
The binoculars utilize prisms crafted from top-grade BaK-4 optical glass. They are enhanced with advanced PC-3 Phase Coating, which counteracts phase shift losses in reflected light waves, along with DPC (Dielectric Prism Coating) that ensures accurate color reproduction, resolution, and contrast.
The lenses feature special ED glass (Extra-low Dispersion) known for its low light dispersion coefficient, guaranteeing an image with superior resolution and contrast, while virtually eliminating chromatic aberration. Moreover, all air-glass interfaces are extensively treated with FMC anti-reflective coatings (Fully Multi-Coated), significantly reducing unwanted reflections and light loss throughout the optical system.
IPX7-rated construction, EXO Protection coating
The advanced EXO Protection coating repels water droplets, dust, and resists scratches, making it easier to observe even during rainy conditions. This innovation also minimizes condensation from breath.
The binoculars adhere to the IPX7 waterproof standard, allowing them to be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.

The binoculars received high ratings on the optyczne.pl portal. This is a successful model, above all in terms of optical parameters, which are crucial for such devices. I intended to mention its weight, but anyone familiar with the subject knows that a good optical device must be heavy because it needs solid glass and large prisms for the image to be complete, as well as a complicated lens system. And that's exactly what these Bushnell binoculars are – outstanding!
