Blaupunkt ER20 Emergency Radio

AM/FM emergency radio with a powerbank function, perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, or spending time at the beach, as well as for everyday scenarios when access to external power is restricted.

Analog radio tuner, telescopic antenna

The device is equipped with a dual-band analog tuner capable of receiving radio stations in the FM and AM bands. The FM band covers frequencies from 87.5 to 108.0 MHz, while AM ranges from 522 to 1620 kHz. Switching between ranges is done with a sliding switch on the front panel. Station tuning is facilitated by a dial, and the current frequency can be seen on an accurate scale. High-quality reception is ensured by a telescopic antenna that can be rotated to get a better signal.

LED flashlight, SOS mode

The device has an SOS alarm function , emitting an audible signal with a volume of 110 dB, which can help emergency services quickly locate people in need of help. The ER10 can also function as a flashlight, thanks to a built-in LED with three light modes.

Built-in battery, solar panel, crank generator

The 2,000 mAh battery can be charged in a variety of ways - using the built-in solar panel or hand-crank alternator, as well as via a USB-C cable. A full charge with the solar panel requires about 60 hours of exposure to the sun. The solar panel is also equipped with a small lamp to provide an additional light source. Using a cranking alternator, 360 turns generate enough energy for about 30 minutes of radio or flashlight operation. Charging from an external power source via the included USB-C cable takes 4-5 hours.

Powerbank function, battery level indicator

Equipped with a universal USB-C connector, the radio can function as a portable power bank for charging various devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops. A built-in charge level indicator provides updates on the battery status while in use. When fully charged, the battery powers the radio for 10-15 hours.

The device has excellent build quality and is functionally designed. The radio plays clearly and loudly, and the flashlight works well in emergencies. Additionally, when you open the photovoltaic panel, the reading lamp automatically turns on.

It works great with the Xtorm power bank – I take both devices on trips. The solar panel isn't very efficient, but that's not the point, because even when unused it can catch a few extra percent in the sun. I recommend it.

Emergency radio with flashlight and power bank (unfortunately with low capacity, but independent from external power sources) is definitely worth recommending. All its features work great and are not just decorations. After two days in the sun and several uses of the crank, I managed to charge the battery to more than half. The flashlight offers four lighting modes, and the additional light under the solar panel can successfully brighten up a small room. The downside is that you can't turn off this light after raising the solar panel, which makes charging at a convenient angle tricky, as you have to rotate the whole radio towards the sun. The radio works very well, and the sound is really decent for this type of device, contrary to some opinions – after all, it's not meant for audiophiles. The AM and FM ranges are basic; more would be appreciated, but it'll do. I also have another similar radio made in PRC (at a slightly lower price), and it doesn't measure up to this one – Blaupunkt, even if also from China, is better made and works better. Highly recommended.

The radio meets expectations – it's smaller than I expected. The battery could be bigger, but in emergency conditions it should be enough. Radio reception is flawless, the charging crank works properly, and the solar panel does its job. The flashlight turns on a bit unusually, but it shines well.

I've had the radio for a short time and so far it works very well. The sound could be better, but that's not the most important thing. It's solidly built, gives off good light, and soon I'll check how it performs in the forest. I haven't tested charging via the solar panel yet.

All functions work without any problems, the light is strong enough, the radio receives the signal efficiently, and the built-in battery isn't bad – several hours of listening to the radio while working in the forest didn't completely drain it.

I hesitated for a long time, but I'm glad I decided to buy it – I'm happy with it. All the functions work properly – the radio plays, it lights up, and charges. The device is light and small, so it's easy to transport. I honestly recommend it.

Radio as described, all functions work properly. It doesn't offer stunning sound quality, but that's not necessary. I think this is equipment for situations when information will be most important, and access to electricity and batteries limited. I recommend both the product and the Militaria.pl store.

A very nice device. The basic radio function works flawlessly, stations are received well, although the sound quality is average – but that's not the most important thing about this device. It's small, lightweight, handy, and comfortable to use. The flashlight is bright enough. You can replace the factory batteries with stronger ones, which is a big plus because they aren't permanently soldered. It works great as a camping radio – small size and the option to charge with a crank or solar are advantages. As for the sound – I didn't expect a small plastic radio to have strong bass and crystal clear highs, but the sound is understandable and doesn't lose range. It's no JBL, but it's listenable.
