Berghaus Tactical Pugio Backpack 28 l - Olive
Tactical backpack with a 28 l capacity in Olive, from the Pugio series. This model is designed for modularity and extensive gear customization options to fit the user's needs. Stiff walls and an internal frame give the backpack a boxy shape and allow for the pack to fully open when the zipper is undone. This type of construction greatly simplifies gear organization and offers direct access to contents, both in tactical and outdoor settings. Made from durable 500D polyamide with double Rip-Stop weave. Between the outer layer and the lining there's an RFID layer that provides extra security both when traveling and for everyday use in urban environments. The Pugio 28 stands out with a removable hip belt, which can be stowed in a dedicated compartment at the bottom of the back panel.
500D polyamide with double Rip-Stop weave is highly resistant to damage
Manufactured from 500D double Rip-Stop polyamide, which delivers outstanding resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The double Rip-Stop weave adds strength to the fabric, significantly reducing the risk of tears, even during use in harsh field conditions. Additionally, the fabric is lightweight, moisture-resistant, and repels dirt.
Modular cargo space and option for fully opening the main compartment
The main compartment is secured with a zipper that enables the backpack to open wide, making it easier to organize and quickly access your gear. The interior features Velcro panels for attaching compatible pouches and accessories, allowing for fully customizable organization. The boxy construction prevents the fabric from collapsing, making gear management more efficient. Inside the main compartment, there's a small zippered pocket. An RFID layer is positioned between the outer shell and lining (except for the front pocket), effectively increasing data protection for contactless cards. The front zippered pocket provides a separate organization zone for smaller items. The Pugio 28 also comes with two large zippered side pockets as well as an elastic phone pocket sewn onto the shoulder strap for quick device access. Inside the main compartment, there is a carabiner to hold a hydration bladder of up to 3 litres. A special compartment at the bottom of the back panel is for carrying the removable hip belt.
Elastic shock cord and velcro panel on the front of the backpack
At the top of the front panel, elastic shock cord is threaded through fabric loops and enables you to secure lightweight gear on the outside of the pack. The velcro panel on the front allows you to attach different emblems and patches.
Nylon frame, adjustable strap system, carry handle, removable hip belt
The carrying system uses ergonomic, adjustable straps for precise fit and even weight distribution. The straps are designed for maximum stability and comfort, reducing shifting of the pack while on the move. The padded back panel with a central ventilation channel improves cushioning, providing comfort even during long periods of wear. An internal nylon frame is an integral part of the design, preserving the pack's shape and reinforcing the overall structure. The frame stabilizes the load regardless of the amount carried and allows you to safely transport heavier gear.
Extra stability is provided by reinforced, rigid panels and an adjustable chest strap with a composite buckle, featuring height adjustment. The upper section of the backpack features a carry handle. The hip belt is detachable and partially padded with soft material, relieving pressure on the shoulder girdle and evenly distributing weight across the hips, further stabilizing the load-bearing system. The Bergbuckle buckle allows the belt to be fastened quickly, quietly, and securely.
