This is already my second Baofeng radio and again it meets my expectations. It fits perfectly in the hand and fits every standard pouch. The range is excellent, even in densely wooded areas it works without problems.

Baofeng UV-5RT Radio
Baofeng UV-5RT Radio is a small device with a duoband feature that allows simultaneous operation on two frequency bands. A dedicated button facilitates switching between them. The model is characterized by transmission power up to 8 W and a reinforced, damage-resistant and weatherproof housing, operating in a temperature range from -20 deg. C to +60 deg. C.
Power adjustment, CTCSS, DCS tones
It supports bands 136–174 MHz (RX/TX), 400–520 MHz (RX/TX) and allows FM radio reception 76–108 MHz. Users have access to power adjustment (8W / 4W / 1W), VOX function, frequency scanner, and SOS. The radio supports DTMF, ANI (with computer programming capability), CTCSS, DCS tones and 1750 Hz, and also allows channel spacing adjustment from 2.5 to 25 kHz.
LCD display, ergonomic keypad
The large backlit LCD display provides both text and graphic information. The ergonomic keypad with assigned shortcuts allows quick access to functions without searching the menu. The device fits perfectly in hand and can be operated with one hand.
