Strengths: Ultra-light (only 150 g), very compact when folded, and comes with a suspension cord. Its silver metallic surface perfectly reflects heat (up to 90% as stated), which is reassuring for dealing with hypothermia or bad weather. Versatility: The dimensions of 240 x 150 x 90 cm are optimal for one person. It can be easily set up between two trees or with trekking poles. It also works very well as a waterproof groundsheet. Verdict: An essential item to slip into the bottom of your hiking backpack or keep in your car. For the price (on sale for a little over 5 €), it's an excellent investment for safety!

So far, I haven't used the EWT as an emergency tent or bushcraft shelter. On my tours, I mainly use it as an additional insulating layer between my sleeping pad and the ground. For this purpose, it works very well and provides extra protection against cold and moisture. It is lightweight, compact, and hardly takes up any space in the luggage. For the price, it's a useful addition to the gear.

To have or not to have – that is the question. Considering that it costs as much as a pack of cigarettes, it would be unwise not to have this product, especially since, when properly folded, it takes up as much space as a pack of smokes.

Along with an NRC foil and NRC sleeping bag, this tent should be part of basic camping or trekking gear. It doesn't take up much space and lets you create a shelter without the need to set up a traditional tent – great as an emergency or backup option.
