Axil X30i Passive Hearing Protectors - Desert Tan

In-ear hearing protectors designed to protect hearing during shooting and work in loud environments. The model uses two protection modes – open and closed, allowing the level of isolation to be matched to the type of noise. Interchangeable foam and silicone tips allow the protectors to be fitted to the ear, and a simple switch enables quick mode changes.

The protectors feature a water- and sweat-resistant design, which allows them to be used during intense activity and in changing conditions. The included carry case makes it easier to store and carry the protectors together with the interchangeable tips.

A mechanical switch is located on the housing of each protector, opening or closing the sound channel. In open mode, the protectors allow ambient sounds through while reducing sudden impulse noise. Closed mode increases isolation from the surroundings and is intended for protection against continuous noise.

The attenuation level depends on the type of tips used and the selected mode. For foam tips, the SNR value is 25 dB in closed mode and 22 dB in open mode, while the NRR is 19 dB and 16 dB respectively. For silicone tips, the SNR is 21 dB in closed mode and 20 dB in open mode, and the NRR is 15 dB and 13 dB respectively. Impulse noise protection IPIL is 31 dB for foam tips and 30 dB for silicone tips.

The protectors meet the requirements of standards and markings related to safety, hearing protection effectiveness, and product compliance in different markets.

• EN352-2 – European standard specifying safety and performance requirements for earplugs
• ANSI – American technical standards covering, among other things, hearing protection requirements
• AS/NZ – standards used in Australia and New Zealand relating to safety and hearing protector parameters
• CE – marking confirming product compliance with the relevant requirements of the European Union
