Axil X30i Passive Hearing Protectors - Charcoal

In-ear hearing protectors designed to protect hearing during shooting and work in loud environments. The model uses two protection modes – open and closed, making it possible to match the level of isolation to the type of noise. Interchangeable foam and silicone tips make it easier to fit them to the ear, and a simple switch allows quick changes between work modes.

The protectors feature a water- and sweat-resistant design, which allows them to be used during intense activity and in changing conditions. The included carrying case makes it easy to store and carry the protectors together with the interchangeable tips.

A mechanical switch is placed on the housing of each protector, opening or closing the sound channel. In open mode, the protectors let ambient sounds through while reducing sudden impulse noise. Closed mode increases isolation from the surroundings and is intended for protection against continuous noise.

The attenuation level depends on the type of tips used and the selected mode. For foam tips, the SNR value is 25 dB in closed mode and 22 dB in open mode, while NRR is 19 dB and 16 dB respectively. For silicone tips, SNR is 21 dB in closed mode and 20 dB in open mode, and NRR is 15 dB and 13 dB respectively. IPIL impulse noise protection is 31 dB for foam tips and 30 dB for silicone tips.

The protectors meet the requirements of standards and markings relating to safety, hearing protection effectiveness, and product compliance in different markets.

• EN352-2 – European standard defining safety and effectiveness requirements for hearing protection earplugs
• ANSI – American technical standards covering, among other things, hearing protection requirements
• AS/NZ – standards used in Australia and New Zealand concerning the safety and parameters of hearing protectors
• CE – marking confirming the product’s compliance with the relevant requirements of the European Union
