Alpinus Negoiu Backpack 20 l - Sage

Hiking backpack with a 20-liter capacity available in sage color. Its thoughtfully designed structure makes it ideal for daily urban activities and mountain adventures alike. The model includes an integrated rain cover, reflective Alpinus Safety elements, and the H2O system for accommodating hydration inserts.

Durable construction from Dobby nylon, Rip-Stop weave

The backpack is crafted from lightweight and durable 210D Dobby nylon featuring a Rip-Stop weave. This material is known for its distinctive geometric fiber pattern, offering superb resistance to damage, abrasions, and tears. Even in the event of localized damage, the fabric resists fraying or unraveling. Additionally, the backpack is coated with a protective layer to guard against dirt and moisture.

The backpack secures with a zipper. The design utilizes durable and strong SBS zippers and buckles. Side compression straps enable volume reduction and offer extra stabilization. Inside the main compartment, there's an internal pocket for a hydration insert compatible with the Alpinus H2O system. At the top, you’ll find an opening for the tube to pass through.

The Negoiu model comes with 8 pockets:

  • two side pockets crafted from elastic mesh
  • two external pockets with zippers
  • two pockets inside
  • two zippered pockets located on the hip belt

Numerous straps and loops facilitate attaching essential gear to the outside.

Adjustable shoulder straps, chest and hip belt, contoured back

The carrying system includes adjustable shoulder straps, as well as a chest and hip belt, facilitating an even weight distribution in challenging terrain. A noteworthy feature of the backpack is the full removal of the hip belt, allowing it to function as a separate waist bag for smaller gear. For enhanced comfort, the straps and back panel of the backpack are padded with soft foam. The ergonomically shaped back incorporates a light mesh ensuring excellent air circulation and moisture management.

Reflective elements, rain cover

Ensure safety during movement in dim light and reduced visibility with reflective Alpinus Safety elements. Moreover, the backpack features a rain cover that can be stored away.

    Tested in the Beskids. The backpack fits well on the back, has a comfortable hip belt, and a pocket on the left side for a phone, which is very useful. It looks aesthetically pleasing, is handy, and lightweight. However, it lacks a mesh or elastic straps on the front flap – a simple solution that would increase its functionality. It also seems that the backpack's total capacity is a bit smaller than the declared 20L, especially when using a hydration bladder and the front pocket is full.
